SST Alamo Robotics Team Successful in Austin, Texas TAME Competition

SST Alamo middle school robotics team won at the Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering (TAME) competition in Austin, Texas last week. TAME is a state-wide non-profit organization preparing students to join a a diverse STEM workforce. TAME allows students to compete in competitions that test their knowledge and skills through various challenges and tests. 
 
Our SST Alamo students attended the divisional competition and placed in the following: 
Brady Dion, 7th grade - 1ST PLACE
Maximus Planchon, 7th grade 3RD PLACE
Yusuf Mamedov, 7th grade 5TH PLACE
John Lopez, 8th grade JUDGES CHOICE AWARD
Alexander Raimondi, 8th grade BEST DESIGN ENGINEER- TEAM CHOICE
James Tracy, 8th grade BEST DESIGN ENGINEER- TEAM CHOICE
